Microdata and Drillthrough views

A drillthrough page allows you to examine the source records for an individual cell of a report.

A microdata page allows you to examine the source data related to an entire cube-based report or to an individual cell. Microdata may provide access to more source records than drillthrough, and it also offers increased functionality. For example, you cannot drill through on calculated values, but you can access microdata for calculated values.

To access report-level microdata, click View as: Microdata on the toolbar of a report page. If cell-level microdata is present, a diamond symbol is visible beside a cell's value . Click the symbol to see the microdata.

If a value is underlined, it means that drillthrough data is available. Click the value to display the drillthrough page.
