This tab allows you to calculate percentages based on the selected dimension. For each defined and selected percentage, a new measure is calculated and shown for each selected measure in the table. The new measure has the same name as the existing measure, but with the name of the percentage added onto the end.
For any given member, the data associated with this measure is the actual data associated with the member divided by the selected denominator, shown as a percentage.
The two options for selecting the denominator are the sum of all selected members, or a specific member (or subtotal). For example, it is possible to show each age band as a percentage of the total, or as a percentage of the sum of the selected age bands.
Note: If you have multiple percentages defined, move the Measures dimension into the table to view all of them at once.
Select an existing percentage from the list to edit it, or click on the Create new percentage button to create a new percentage (see Creating or Editing a Percentage (Dimensions)) .
