Importing Report Definitions

Report definitions can be exported by one user, sent by email to another user, and then imported by the recipient for use. Report definition files are in Perspective Report Definition (PRD) format.

To import a report definition:

  1. Select the My reports tab and then select Import report definition on the toolbar.
  2. Locate the file by selecting the Choose File button and navigating to the location of the saved report definition file.
  3. Enter the name for the new report.
  4. Select the folder into which the new report will be placed.
  5. Click Import. A new report is created, using the information from the imported PRD file.
